This product’s Organic Input Material provisional registration issued by the California Department of Food and Agriculture remains in effect exclusively pursuant to a court ordered preliminary injunction. The California Department of Food and Agriculture has determined that this fertilizing material contains a prohibited synthetic form of nitrogen and does not currently comply with the National Organic Program standards for use in organic crop production. This determination is the subject of ongoing litigation, wherein Nitricity, Inc. disputes that the fertilizer contains synthetic nitrogen.
Our Circular Process
Upcycling agricultural byproducts
We transform local agricultural byproducts, like almond shells, into an organic nitrogen fertilizer. This step diverts biomass waste from landfills and turns it into a valuable farm input. Upcycling gives farmers a climate-friendly fertilizer while reducing waste streams in their own communities.
Brew with Clean Energy
We combine these byproducts with air, water, and clean energy to brew an organic nitrogen fertilizer. Our process runs on renewable power, keeping emissions low from the start. The result is a high-performing organic fertilizer.
Deliver to Growers
We deliver the finished organic fertilizer directly to local farms. It is filtered and non-clogging by design, so it runs cleanly through growers' existing equipment. Local production shortens the supply chain and keeps fertilizer available when growers need it.
Nourishing the Soil
Our organic fertilizer returns to the field to nourish crops and improve soil health. Healthy soils support stronger yields season after season. This system creates a regenerative agricultural cycle.
